Accenture Match Play Championship WGC
The WGC Accenture Match Play Championship begins on Wednesday, with the story of the week - the story of the year, so far - being Tiger Woods' return to action. Woods has a first-round match against Brendan Jones.
The brackets show some very interesting potential matchups. Woods, for example, could face Retief Goosen in the second round, Rory McIlroy in the third, or Geoff Ogilvy, Camilo Villegas or Rory Sabbatini in the quarterfinals.
Phil Mickelson comes into the tournament off a win at the Northern Trust Open. What are the odds of Woods and Mickelson meeting up? Very low. It's never happened before, and too many things can go "wrong" in a match play format. But if it happens, it would happen in the semifinals. Mickelson's quarter of the draw includes Vijay Singh, Lee Westwood, Ernie Els, Steve Stricker and Luke Donald.
The printable bracket is available in .pdf format from pgatour.com.
